Holderchem is hiring Web Admin interns. Candidates should have a strong technical background, analytical mindset, a good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as well as Pay Per Click (PPC) features, and be familiar with e-commerce shipment and payment portals.
Candidates will work on the improvement of the User Experience (UX) of the Holderchem website and its related web portals. They should understand of content management systems (CMS) and technology infrastructures, and use Javascript and Unix systems fluently.
To ensure a successful internship, candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, content creation and writing skills. They should also have a solid understanding of content management systems (CMS) and backend technology infrastructures.
Web Admin Intern Responsibilities:
- Upgrading Holderchem’s website.
- Responding to and troubleshooting website issues.
- Uploading Holderchem’s partners’ data.
- Writing Web-Scraping scripts.
- Setting up a registered subscriber-only client section.
- Creating and uploading appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
- Identifying and removing data entry duplication.
- Improving User Experience of the website regularly.
- Collaborating with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
- Create strategies for a subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
- Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices, monitoring competitor websites.
Web Admin Requirements:
- Candidates should be pursuing a degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification.
- Have interest in developing their web management skills, and knowledge of analytical tools.
- Have attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
Content creation and writing skills.
- Demonstrate creative mindsets and understand basic UI/UX guidelines.
- Have the ability to multi-task and work in teams.
- Prior experience with website development is preferred but not required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Typescript 4.0 and ES7 programming
- Strong demonstrated knowledge of ReactJS and GraphQL / Relay frameworks
- Familiarity with nodejs
- Familiarity with GatsbyJS
- git and Github are a must
- Unix server administration, docker, and Kubernetes are a plus
- HTML 5 / CSS 3 scripting
- Bootstrap 5 framework skills
- TailwindCSS 3 skill is a plus
