Installation of tiles over uneven concrete

  1. Substrates must be structurally sound, dry, solid, and stable. Any laitance, dust, grease, oil, paint, or curing compounds present on the surface of the concrete substrate that may inhibit bond, shall be mechanically removed.
  2. Apply a ready to use floor screed leveling compound in thicknesses varying from 3mm to 80 mm
  3. Apply thereafter upon the floor screed setting the ready to use tile adhesive.
  4. Prior to the application of tile grouts, ensure joints are clean, free of dust, and empty down to at least 2/3 of the thickness of the tiles, carrying out preferably a 1m2 sample area for approval by the architect.
  5. Apply as a sealing joint wherever required a high-performance, anti-efflorescence grout, polymer-modified, for joints from 2 to 20 mm solvent-free, acetic-cross-linking mildew-resistant silicone sealant.

System for the installation of tiles direct to a concrete substrate

  1. Substrates must be structurally sound, dry, solid, and stable. Any laitance, dust, grease, oil, paint, or curing compounds present on the surface of the concrete substrate that may inhibit bond, shall be mechanically removed.
  2. Apply the ready-to-use tile adhesive.
  3. Prior to the application of tile grouts, ensure joints are clean, free of dust, and empty down to at least 2/3 of the thickness of the tiles, carrying out preferably a 1m² sample area for approval by the architect.
  4. Apply as a sealing joint wherever required a high-performance, anti-efflorescence grout, polymer-modified, for joints from 2 to 20 mm solvent-free, acetic-cross-linking mildew-resistant silicone sealant.

System for the installation of large format tiles on floors and walls

  1. Substrates must be structurally sound, dry, solid, and stable. Any laitance, dust, grease, oil, paint, or curing compounds present on the surface of the concrete substrate that may inhibit bond, shall be mechanically removed.
  2. Apply a repair render to ensure a crack-free, damage-free surface.
  3. Apply a high-performance deformable tile adhesive.
  4. Use a premium grout and solvent-free acetic acid crosslinking mildew-resistant silicone sealant.

For horizontal surfaces follow the same procedure applying prior to the application of the tile adhesive a floor screed-leveling compound in thicknesses varying from 3mm to 80 mm.

System for the installation of ceramic tiles & stone material on balconies

  1. Substrates must be structurally sound, dry, solid, and stable. Any laitance, dust, grease, oil, paint, or curing compounds present on the surface of the concrete substrate that may inhibit bond, shall be mechanically removed.
  2. Apply by brush or roller a two-component, high flexibility cementitious mortar, for waterproofing concrete surfaces.
  3. Apply thereafter a hydraulic binder for the preparation of a screed with controlled shrinkage.
  4. Apply a floor screed-leveling compound in thicknesses varying from 3mm to 80 mm.
  5. Apply on the corner joints between the floor and wall a rubber tape.
  6. Apply over the floor screed by brush or roller a two-component, high flexibility cementitious mortar for waterproofing concrete surfaces.
  7. Apply a High-performance deformable cementitious adhesive with no vertical slip and extended open time for ceramic tiles, recommended for laying large porcelain and natural stone tiles in adhesive thicknesses 3 to 15 mm.
  8. Apply as a sealing joint wherever required a high-performance, anti-efflorescence grout, polymer-modified, for joints from 2 to 20 mm solvent-free, acetic-cross-linking mildew-resistant silicone sealant.

System for the installation of ceramic tiles on metallic surfaces

For ceramic tiles and stone material over the metal sheet, apply a high-performance improved reaction two-component polyurethane, reaction resin adhesive (R2). For vertical applications, use a thixotropic reaction resin adhesive (R2T).

  1. Tiles must be absolutely dry.
  2. Apply firm pressure to the tiles to ensure good contact and covering of the back. If the layer of the fresh adhesive is also to act as a waterproofing membrane, make sure that any ribs and lugs do not go through the layer. If used for installing onto particularly deformable substrates, all coverings larger than 5x5 cm must be installed with wide joints.
  3. The setting time is tied to the ambient temperature (see table below).
  4. Use a high-performance, anti-efflorescence grout, polymer-modified, for joints from 2 to 20 mm.
  5. Use a solvent-free, acetic-cross-linking mildew-resistant silicone sealant for interior, exterior, ceramic tile floor, and wall sealing of expansion joints.
