Description

BATIMIX Tile Adhesive F-450 White is a high-performance two-component cementitious-based tile adhesive. It accelerates setting and improves hydration properties.

The powder component (A) is made of white Portland cement type I, fillers, fine-graded sand, synthetic resins, and special additives that accelerate the adhesive setting and reduce slip. The liquid component (B) is based on synthetic-rubber latex, blended with elastomeric resins to improve bonding strength and flexibility.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Tile Adhesive F-450 White is primarily used in structures that have to be ready for use within short periods of time (around 5 hours), such as in supermarkets, factories, hospitals, and airports, and in areas likely to be subjected to slight movements, vibrations, temperature changes, aging, and heavy traffic.

It is also used for fixing, in inside or outside areas, large-size natural or reconstructed tiles and stones, particularly where high performance and fast setting properties are required.

Admissible substrates include concrete, cement-based plasters, screeds, hollow blocks, and gypsum boards. Tiling over existing tiles can also be done but after testing.
