Batimix MWR 602

Mid-range plasticizing admixture for flowing concrete

Description

BATIMIX MWR 602 is a liquid mid-range water-reducing (superplasticizer) admixture for concrete with enhanced slump retention over time. It is essentially based on high-grade naphthalene-sulphonate and carefully selected chemicals.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MWR 602 improves concrete workability. It allows an effective reduction in the free-water content. It works essentially by electrostatic repulsion and adsorption. It effectively disperses the fine cementitious particles in the concrete mix. The result of this powerful deflocculation action allows specified concrete strength grades to be achieved with reduced cement content and/or increased workability.

Applications using BATIMIX MWR 602 include all types of concrete castings such as plain, reinforced, ready-mixed, lightweight, pumped, and shotcrete.

Features

Concrete prepared with BATIMIX MWR 602 is characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

  • Improved workability without adding extra water
  • Reduced water content up to 25% with minimum secondary effects
  • Increased homogeneity with minimum segregation and bleeding
  • Normal setting characteristics under cool conditions

In the hardened state:

  • Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
  • Reduced shrinkage, creep, and water permeability
  • Enhanced concrete durability and surface appearance

Dosage

0.3% to 2.4% of the cementitious materials

Color

Brown liquid

Available Packages

  • Bulk
