Batimix MC Series

Grinding aids for masonry and mortar cements

Description

BATIMIX MC Series products are carefully formulated aqueous solutions designed to be inter-ground with clinker and other raw materials to produce cement conforming to the requirements of ASTM C 91 standard specification for masonry cement or ASTM C 1329 standard specification for mortar cement.

BATIMIX MC Series products enhance air-entrainment, also significantly enhancing workability, board life, and water retention. Moreover, these additives improve grinding efficiency, reducing the surface energy forces, which cause agglomeration. These products are effective in both open and closed circuit cement mills.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MC Series products are used for grinding both white and gray masonry and mortar types of cement.

Features

BATIMIX MC Series products are easy and safe to handle. They provide the following performances:

  • Increased mill output at same-cement fineness,
  • Reduced energy costs and pack set,
  • Enhanced grain size distribution for optimized initial and final strengths of cement,
  • Increased level of air entrainment (8% to 21%) according to specification requirements, and
  • Improved workability, board life, and water retention for mortar and masonry applications.
