Description

BATIMIX WG7-V2 is a pumping aid liquid admixture especially recommended for pumped mortars, grouts, and shotcrete materials over short and long distances.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX WG7-V2 is particularly formulated to offer high resistance to forced bleeding so that the de-watering of mortars and grouts under pumping pressure is prevented. It is characterized by long-chain water-soluble polymers of complex forms that can then intertwine and develop attractive forces through hydrogen bonds and polymer entanglements resulting in increased cohesiveness and uniformity of flow during pumping.

BATIMIX WG7-V2 can be used in all types of pumped mortars, grouts, and shotcrete materials.

Features

Concrete prepared with BATIMIX WG7-V2 is characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

• Sharply reduced bleeding and segregation
• Increased cohesiveness with fewer risks of mixture constituents separating during pumping operations
• Improved stability of fresh mortar during casting and thereafter
• Thixotropic action, providing increased thickness layers and enhanced homogeneity
• Sag-resistance in shotcrete applications

In the hardened state:

• At normal dosages, no detrimental effect on setting time
• Improved durability and better surface quality
