High grade superplasticizer for concrete
BATIMIX HWR 1400 is a liquid high-range water-reducing (superplasticizer) admixture with enhanced properties for concrete. It is based on high-grade naphthalene sulfonate and carefully selected chemical materials.
BATIMIX HWR 1400 improves concrete workability allowing an effective reduction in the free water content. This product is a highly powerful dispersant, which functions by electrostatic repulsion, breaking-up agglomerates in the concrete mix. This allows specified concrete strength grades to be achieved, with significantly reduced cement content and/or increased workability.
Applications using BATIMIX HWR 1400 include all types of concrete castings such as plain, reinforced, precast, ready-mixed, lightweight, pumped, and shotcrete.

For normal superplasticizing effect, BATIMIX HWR 1400 should be used at dosage rates varying from 0.6% to 1.6% of the cementitious materials. Such addition rates increase up to 2.3% in case higher slump concrete is required.
Liquid brown
BATIMIX HWR 1400 is not considered a hazardous product. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Suitable gloves and goggles should be worn. For additional information, kindly refer to the product’s Material Safety Data Sheet.
