High quality superplasticiser for concrete with setting accelerator
BATIMIX HWR 1200-A is a high-end water-reducing liquid admixture (superplasticizer) with improved properties for concrete. It is based on high quality naphthalene sulfonate materials mixed with selected chemicals to accelerate setting. It does not contain calcium chloride or other potentially corrosive ingredients
BATIMIX HWR 1200-A is designed to improve the workability of concrete and/or allow effective reduction of free water content. This product is a very powerful dispersant, which works by electrostatic repulsion, breaking up agglomerates in the concrete mix. It achieves specified concrete strength levels, with significantly reduced cement content and/or increased workability. It is particularly used in cold climates to reduce concrete setting times. It speeds up finishing and stripping operations.
Applications using BATIMIX HWR 1200-A include all types of concrete castings, such as ordinary, reinforced, precast, ready-mixed, lightweight, pumped and shotcrete.
Concrete prepared with BATIMIX HWR 1200-A is characterized by:
In the plastic state:
• Greater fluidity without adding additional water
• Reduced water content, up to 40%, with minimal side effects
• Improved homogeneity, cohesion and ability to pump the concrete mix
• Accelerated setting, particularly suitable for use in cold climates
In hardened state:
• Better resistances - compression, bending and bonding
• Reduced shrinkage, creep, water permeability and cracking
• Increased durability and better surface appearance of concrete
