Description

BATIMIX Fiber M-880 - 3mm high-performance polypropylene fibers are designed specifically for reinforcing mortars and grouts. They provide optimum strength with improved resistance to cracking. They can be supplied in 6 mm length as Batimix Fiber M-880-6mm and may also be available in alternative lengths.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Fiber M-880-3mm monofilaments totally disperse into the mortar and grout mix. Fibers are supplied in lengths of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm, to provide reduced cracking and long-term durability. They are used to produce fiber mortars and grouts for plastering, rendering, repair works, patching, pointing, and shotcrete.

In the plastic state:

• Controlled plastic shrinkage cracks
• Minimized bleed water and segregation

In the hardened state:

• Increased flexural and tensile strengths at all ages
• A surface that is crack-free, with minimum drying and autogenous shrinkage
• Increased toughness and resistance to creep and abrasion
• Improved durability and longer service life

0.3% to 0.8% of the cement weight
