Description

BATIMIX Concrete 562 is a pre-blended shotcrete mixture used in dry process applications to achieve lower permeability. It contains Portland cement, silica fume, selected additives, and carefully-graded fine and coarse aggregates. It exhibits enhanced shotcrete characteristics and physical properties.

The dry material is introduced in the shotcrete delivery machine. Compressed air is used to convey the dry material at high velocity through a hose with water added. It impacts the receiving surface at high velocity, yielding a well-compacted product easy to place and consolidate.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Concrete 562 is a structural material. It is used for repair and rehabilitation works carried on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces. Structures include bridges, garages, beams, slabs, and others. It is also used in ground support, mining and tunneling applications, the lining of sewers and shafts, slope stabilization, and soil nailing. Substrates include rock, soil, brick, or any cementitious surface.
