Description

BATIMIX Anti-Carbonation M-921 is designed from acrylic polymers blended with selected chemicals to protect atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete structures, cementitious-based substrates, and masonry from aggressive elements and weathering attacks.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Anti-Carbonation M-921 is applied as a coating to protect exposed concrete and masonry substrates from aggressive elements such as carbon dioxide, chloride ions, and water. It is applied to concrete and mortar structures that are used in residential and commercial buildings. Applications also include bridge abutments, boundary walls, storage tanks, and other infrastructure elements.

Substrates treated with BATIMIX Anti-Carbonation M-921 are characterised by the following:

  • Minimised risk for carbonation due to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
  • Reduced penetration level of aggressive ions, chlorides, and water

Color

White and medium shade colors are available as per standard color card. Custom colors can be obtained upon request.
