Project Outline:

The project consists of the design and analysis of double-entry bookkeeping to meet the needs of a specific small to medium-size enterprise. It includes an analysis of currently implemented accounting software (Visual Dolphin). It shall encompass the following tasks:

Analysis, reporting & User Experience

• Determining and simulating data sources for accounting reports, including Aging of payables/receivables, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cashflow, and P/L statements using MS Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• The process design of accounting and stock operations related to the Marketplace from a business perspective, including sales, delivery, shipment, order fulfillment, and management reporting.
• Determining the ideal User Experience strategies for designing software forms to make it user-friendly and efficient.
• Writing procedures for carrying out every type of operation on the system (use-cases), as well as defining the chain-of-responsibility and security requirements in a multi-user environment in an industrial company.

Prerequisites:

Solid knowledge of double-entry accounting principles, Lebanese chart of account, as well as other relevant MOF regulations is required.

Knowledge of management information systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) is desirable.
