Holderchem supplied the Inkript Special printing factory, located in Bchamoun, Lebanon, with Vandex Super, a waterproofing product designed to treat below-ground structures. Excavation works were minimized as the material applied on either the positive or negative side. The retaining walls area treated exceeded 12,000 m². The material, which is hydrostatically-resistant, remains permanently active, allowing vapor to pass through the substrate, and unlike membranes, it cannot be torn or punctured. Vandex Plug, a rapid setting hydraulic-cement compound with crystalline properties, was used. It instantly stopped running water and seepage in masonry and concrete. It was used to plug and seal active leaks. Once it had set and stopped the flowing water, additional Vandex waterproofing treatments were applied over it.
