Batimix Joint Tape 550

Waterproofing strip for static joints

Description

BATIMIX Joint Tape 550 is an alkali-resistant and flexible fabric. It provides a permanent waterproof seal over static joints and cracks on either the positive or negative side of a substrate, where water is a problem. It is characterized by an easy to peel siliconized release liner.

BATIMIX Joint tape 550 strongly adheres to materials such as concrete, plasterboards, and ceramic. It generally adheres well to smooth-surface materials. It is a self-adhesive sealing tape or pad consisting of a butyl-rubber adhesive compound protected by a Polypropylene Fleece. The non-Woven Fleece allows the tape to seal and conform over the joint.
