Batimix RCTA 100 is an additive used for the treatment of returned plastic concrete to convert it into a dry, hardened, granular state.

Adding Batimix RCTA 100 directly into the mixer drum is easy, fast and efficient. After discharging the granular material, a standard washout procedure can be used to clean the drum.

Directions for Use

Add the additive directly into the mixer drum with the returned plastic concrete. Mix for 5-10 minutes to ensure even distribution and consistent hardening. Run trials to adjust the dosage and mixing time to optimize performance under different temperature and humidity conditions.

Testing and Validation: Lab testing is essential to validate the hardening speed and granular consistency, adjusting proportions if necessary.

Storage

• Shelf life: 24 months
• Keep in a Dry Area: Store bags in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture absorption, which can cause hardening and reduce the product's effectiveness.
• Elevate Off the Ground: Place bags on pallets or other raised surfaces to avoid direct contact with the ground, reducing exposure to moisture.
• Protect from Humidity: If possible, store in a well-ventilated area with minimal humidity. Avoid storage areas with frequent temperature fluctuations that can lead to condensation.
• Use Within Shelf Life: Use within the 24 months shelf life. Rotate stock to use older materials first. This ensures product reliability and quality.
• Cover with Plastic Sheets: When stored for extended periods or in open spaces, cover bags with plastic sheeting or tarps to prevent exposure to water or humidity.
• Avoid Heavy Stacking: Do not stack bags too high, as excessive weight can cause product compaction, making it difficult to use later.
