Description

BATIMIX Putty 920-Leveling is a high quality putty used for preparing substrates prior to painting. This product provides excellent adhesion properties to applied finishing paints.

Health and Safety

Ensure adequate room ventilation when applying BATIMIX Putty 920-Leveling. Do not breathe spray mist and sanding dust. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Wear eye protection and gloves during application or sanding. Close the container after each use and wash thoroughly after handling.

First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. If you experience difficulty breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately.

Directions for Use

Application: BATIMIX Putty 920-Leveling is normally applied by a trowel. Do not apply when air and/or surface temperature are below 16 °C. The average coverage rates are around 2.5 m²/kg, depending on the method of application, degree of substrate porosity, absorption level, etc.

For maximum adhesion, BATIMIX S-400 can be applied on previously prepared surfaces, especially those possessing high absorbance.

Precautions: Wash with care to avoid scuffing and burnishing. Refrain from washing walls before paint is fully cured.

Warning: If you scrape sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust which is known by its high toxicity. Exposure to lead can cause serious illness such as brain damage especially to children and pregnant women.

Storage

BATIMIX Putty 920-Leveling has a minimum shelf life of 12 months if kept unopened. It must be stored in temperatures varying between 5 and 40 °C. It should not be subjected to direct sunlight
