Description

Batimix Plasticizer L-875 is a liquid water-based acrylic dispersion with high bonding, elasticity, and waterproofing characteristics for use with mortars and grouts.

Main Purpose

Batimix Plasticizer L-875 is specifically formulated to modify cementitious-based systems by significantly increasing adhesion, elasticity, and waterproofing properties of sand/cement or sand/lime/cement mixtures while maintaining acceptable level of water vapour transmission.

Applications using BATIMIX Plasticizer L-875 include all types of mortars and grouts used for masonry and repair such as waterproofing, plastering, rendering, patching, pointing, bricklaying, and screeding.

In the plastic state:

• Ease of spread without adding extra water
• Reduced segregation and bleeding
• Normal setting characteristics under cool conditions

In the hardened state:

• Enhanced bonding and adhesion properties
• Increased strengths – compressive and flexural
• Reduced water permeability, porosity, and cracking
• Improved elasticity, allowing the product to be applied in moving areas
• Improved mortar durability and surface appearance

Health and Safety
