Batimix MWR-A Series

Description

BATIMIX MWR-A Series products are high-performance liquid mid-range water-reducing admixtures based on high-grade naphthalene sulphonates and lignosulphonates blended with carefully selected chemicals, including set accelerating calcium chloride-free chemicals. They do not contain any potentially corrosive ingredients.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MWR-A Series products are designed to significantly improve the workability of concrete and effectively reduce free-water content. They are particularly suitable for use in cold climates. They reduce setting time, accelerating finishing operations, and the removal of formworks.

By adding these powerful dispersants to the mix, higher than normal concrete strength grades are achieved with reduced cement contents and increased workability. Applications include all types of plain and reinforced concrete castings, such as self-consolidating, precast, ready-mixed, lightweight, pumped concrete, and shotcrete.

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 35% with minimum secondary effects
• Enhanced homogeneity and pumping ability of the concrete mix
• Accelerated setting, especially suitable for use in cold climates

In the hardened state:

• Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced shrinkage, creep, water permeability, and cracking
• Enhanced durability and better surface appearance of the concrete

Health and Safety
