Batimix MSP Series

Description

BATIMIX MSP Series products are liquid high-range water-reducing (superplasticizer) admixtures for mortars and grouts based on carefully selected chemical materials.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MSP Series products reduce the free-water content and improve the workability of mortar and grout mixes. They powerfully disperse, by electrostatic repulsion and adsorption of the fine cementitious particles in the mix, increasing the mix workability, thus allowing specified strength grades to be achieved with reduced cement content.

Mortars prepared with BATIMIX MSP Series are characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 40% with minimum secondary effects
• Enhanced homogeneity, cohesion, and ability to pump the mix
• Normal setting characteristics under cool conditions

In the hardened state:

• Increased mechanical strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced shrinkage, creep, and water permeability
• Enhanced mortar durability and surface appearance

Health and Safety

BATIMIX MSP Series products are not considered hazardous products. However, they should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Suitable gloves and goggles should be worn. For additional information, kindly refer to the product’s Material Safety Data Sheet.
