Batimix MP 200-A Series

Description

BATIMIX MP 200-A Series products are high-performance liquid mid-range water-reducing admixtures for mortars and grouts. They are based on high-grade naphthalene-sulphonate and lignosulphonate materials blended with selected chemicals designed to accelerate setting. They do not contain calcium chloride or other potentially corrosive ingredients.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MP 200-A Series products reduce the free-water content and improve the workability of mortar and grout mixes. They powerfully disperse, by electrostatic repulsion and adsorption, all the fine cementitious particles in the mix. They increase the mix workability, which allows for specified strength grades to be achieved, with reduced cement content.

BATIMIX MP 200-A Series products are particularly recommended for use in cold climates. They decrease setting time, accelerating finishing operations, and removal of formworks.

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 35% with minimum secondary effects
• Enhanced homogeneity and ability to pump concrete mixes
• Accelerated setting, especially suitable for use in cold climates

In the hardened state:

• Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced shrinkage, creep, water permeability, and cracking
• Enhanced durability and better surface appearance of the mortar

Health and Safety
