Batimix MP 200 Series

Description

BATIMIX MP 200 Series products are high-performance liquid mid-range water-reducing admixtures for mortars and grouts based on high-grade naphthalene-sulphonates, lignosulphonates, and carefully selected chemicals.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MP 200 Series products reduce the free-water content and improve the workability of mortar and grout mixes. They powerfully disperse by electrostatic repulsion and adsorption, all the fine cementitious particles in the mortar and grout mix, thus increasing the mix workability and allowing for specified strength grades to be achieved, with reduced cement content.

Mortars prepared with BATIMIX MP 200 Series products are characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 35% with minimum secondary effects
• Increased homogeneity with minimum segregation and bleeding
• Normal setting characteristics under cool conditions

In the hardened state:

• Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced shrinkage, creep, and water permeability
• Enhanced mortar durability and surface appearance
