Description

BATIMIX MP 100-S Series products are high-performance liquid water-reducing admixtures for mortars and grouts based on high-grade lignosulphonate materials blended with selected chemicals to improve workability retention over time.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MP 100-S Series products improve the workability of cement-based mortars. They increase their resistance to freeze-thaw cycles, allowing for a reduction in gauging water requirements, which minimizes the risk of cracking that may result from shrinkage while drying.

BATIMIX MP 100-S Series products are particularly suitable for use in hot weather conditions, where a delayed set allows for sufficient time for delivery, placement, and finishing operations.

Mortars prepared with BATIMIX MP 100-S Series products are characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 18% with minimum secondary effects
• Better slump retention over time, relevant for hot weather concreting
• Reduced segregation, particularly in lean mixes with a higher slump

In the hardened state:

• Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced water permeability and shrinkage
• Improved mortar durability and surface appearance
