Batimix MP 100-A Series

Description

BATIMIX MP 100-A Series products are high-performance liquid water-reducing admixtures for mortars and grouts based on high-grade lignosulphonate materials blended with selected chemicals to accelerate setting. BATIMIX MP 100-A Series products do not contain calcium chloride or other potentially corrosive ingredients.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX MP 100-A Series products reduce the free-water content and improve the workability of mortar and grout mixes. The fine cementitious particles in the mix are powerfully dispersed by electrostatic repulsion and adsorption. This increases workability, allowing specified strength grades to be achieved with reduced cement content.

BATIMIX MP 100-A Series products are particularly recommended in cold climates. They reduce setting times and accelerate finishing operations and removal of formworks.

Mortars prepared with BATIMIX MP 100-A Series are characterized by the following:

In the plastic state:

• Improved workability without adding extra water
• Reduced water content up to 18% with minimum secondary effects
• Reduced segregation, particularly in lean mixes with higher workability
• Accelerated setting, especially suitable when used in cold climates

In the hardened state:

• Increased strengths – compressive, flexural, and bonding
• Reduced water permeability and cracking
• Improved mortar durability and surface appearance
