BATIMIX Joint tape 560 is a tape that has adhesive on both sides. It is made of a high adhesive butyl rubber compound reinforced with a polyester mesh.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Joint tape 560 is used as a fixing and connecting element between sheets or panels. It is also used as fixing/sealing tape for photovoltaic panels.

Health and Safety

BATIMIX Joint tape 560 is not a hazardous material. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Suitable gloves and goggles should be worn. For additional information, kindly refer to the product’s Material Safety Data Sheet.

Directions for Use

BATIMIX Joint tape 560 is compatible with most building materials metals and flexible or hard plastics.
The sealing tape must be applied to a clean, dry, smooth and dust-free surface. In case of porous supports it’s advisable to stabilize the surface.

Prepare adjoining surfaces well. Choose the most suitable size of BATIMIX Joint tape 560. Place the tape onto the surface. Press it strongly. Remove the silicone release film.
Apply the element you wish to connect.

Storage

Other . Less than one meter wide rolls are individually packed in shrink-wrap, placed in boxes and packed on pallets.

The quality and characteristics of the materials remain unaltered for a long period of time. However it is recommended to use the product within months from production date.

The product must be stored in the original and unopened packaging in a dry and well ventilated place at a temperature between + 5 °C and + 40 °C. Storage above + 50 °C may lead to difficulties in removing the release liner when applying. The product is not affected by frost

Packages

  • Rolls of length 10/15/20 meters, thicknesses of 0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0 mm and widths of 2/3/4/5/7.5/10/15/20/22.5/30/45/100 cm.
  • Rolls of different widths, lengths and thicknesses are available on request packed in shrink-wrap, placed in boxes and packed on pallets.
