Additives for reduced level of hexavalent chromium in cement
BATIMIX CR 4537 is a product of the new generation of hexavalent chromium reducing agents. It is used in the manufacture of Portland and masonry types of cement. This minimizes the level of hexavalent chromium to less than 2 ppm during a minimum period of 3 months without affecting the rheological or mechanical performance of mortars and concrete.
BATIMIX CR 4537 is particularly recommended for the grinding of:
BATIMIX CR 4537 helps achieve the following performances:
BATIMIX CR 4537 may be irritant to the skin and eyes. If accidentally spilled onto the skin, wash immediately with soap and water. BATIMIX CR 4537 is normally proportioned as received. Depending on the mill and operating conditions, it is recommended that industrial tests be conducted on site to determine the optimal dosage rate. In some cases, the product may be diluted with 10% to 50% water to facilitate greater proportioning accuracy and better additive distribution. Kindly consult your HOLDERCHEM representative to determine the appropriate dilution rate.
BATIMIX CR 4537 is introduced into the first or second compartment of the grinding mill to maximize dispersion and product efficiency. It can also be sprinkled onto the dry clinker on the feeding conveyor belt. Suitable dosage pumps with adjustable flow rates are recommended for accurate dosing.
