BATIMIX Bituminous coating 700-WP is a ready to use primer for bituminous membranes obtained mixing water with bitumen using special methods.

Main Purpose

BATIMIX Bituminous coating 700-WP is a primer. It is applied before the application of bituminous membranes. It is ready-to-use, easy to apply, and cost-effective. It exhibits superior adhesion to bituminous membranes and all kinds of surfaces, even if moist. It is suitable for interior applications, as the content is non-toxic and non-flammable. It is a water-based, environmentally friendly product that is cold applied. It does not require heating and thinning.

Health and Safety

Directions for Use

Preparation of Substrate:

Application surface must be dry and clean. Remove materials which may prevent bonding, such as dust, oil, rust and loose pieces. Pores and cracks should be filled with BATIMIX Mortar 622 or BATIMIX mortar 605.

Application Method:

BATIMIX Bituminous coating 700-WP should be cold applied with a bitumen brush or spray gun. It dries within 4-5 hours depending on weather conditions. It should not be applied in rainy days or at temperatures lower than +5 °C.

Consumption:

Approximately 0,25 kg/m² for each layer.

Storage

BATIMIX Bituminous Coating 700-WP shelf life is 24 months from production date if well stored in dry area between +5°C and +35°C. Protect from heat, freezing and direct sunlight.
